Firstly, the leaders of Chongming Bus had a test drive on SUNWIN 9-series pure electric bus, visited the Drum Laboratory of the Technology Center and the trial-production workshop of sample vehicle, and then visited the production line of SWB6128BEV59 suburb bus purchased by Chongming Bus at the final assembly workshop. After the site visit, Qin Chao from the Technology Center reported the recent development, product R&D and after-sales services of SUNWIN and the production progress of Chongming Bus. Through the field investigation, the leaders of Chongming Bus affirmed the achievements of SUNWIN in aspects such as product technology innovation, product quality improvement and after-sales services in recent years. The leaders of both parties mutually agreed that they will
further enhance the cooperation under the major frame of strategic cooperation
between SAIC MOTOR and Chongming District. SUNWIN would create the vehicle and
offer all-around after-sales services as per the demands of Chongming Bus. Chongming

Leaders of Shanghai Municipal Road Transport Administrative Bureau Visit SUNWIN for Investigation On the afternoon of May 25, a delegation of four led by Liu Bin, Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Road Transport Administrative Bureau, visited and inspected SUNWIN. Yang Hanlin, Deputy General Manager of the Commercial Vehicle Division of SAIC MOTOR, Gui Longming, General Manager of SUNWIN, Jing Xinlan, General Manager of Sales Company, Kan Weifeng, General Manager of Technology Center, and other relevant personnel attended the reception.
The leaders of Shanghai Municipal Road Transport Administrative Bureau first tried SUNWIN 9-series pure electric passenger car, visited the hub laboratory in the Technology Center, and observed prototypes of 9-series pure electric healthy bus and fast charge cars. Later, they visited the whole vehicle production line in the general assembly workshop.

They visited the laboratory of the Technology Center, the trial production workshop of new product prototypes, and the general assembly production workshop under the accompaniment of Gui Longming, General Manager of SUNWIN, Jing Xinlan, General Manager of Sales Company, and related sales personnel.
The host and the guests had a discussion in Meeting Room 508 at SUNWIN. The field investigation and communication enabled the two sides to deepen understanding and clarify their respective internal needs. They will further promote in-depth cooperation in the future.

SUNWIN Upgrades and Promotes Refined Quality Rectification of the Interior and Exterior Decorations In order to build the firm awareness of “putting quality first and treating customers as supremacy” and accelerate the improvement of SUNWIN’s product quality, the Manufacturing Engineering Department has led the rectification and upgrade of refined interior and exterior decoration quality of the 9-series since last August. They have immediately sorted out 83 problems in refined interior and exterior decorations and organized the founding of a special working group headed by Guo Fuxiang, Director of the Manufacturing Engineering Department, and joined by the Technology Center, workshops of the Production Department, the Quality Assurance Department, and the Procurement Department.
The project group adopted a weekly meeting system, analyzed the root cause of refinement problems in the form of PQCP, developed effective long-term and short-term measures, tracked the progress of problem rectification, and verified the rectification effectiveness until the problems reached the extent of 6/6 closure. With the continuous deepening of rectification, refinement problems had to meet higher and higher standards in order to pass. The project group rectified every problem detected, with attention to details and dead corners.
In order to consolidate the rectification results and prevent recurrence of rectified problems, the project group also took three measures: First, sort out and send the Quality Control Form for Suppliers of Incoming Materials to SQE, SQA and the general assembly workshop, and require every role to exert stricter control over possible problems in incoming materials of suppliers identified in the control form, reject unqualified products, and refuse to install unqualified products; second, sort out and send the Control Form for Refinement Problems Related to Interior and Exterior Decoration Production of 9-Series to the general assembly workshop, and require it to exert stricter control and self-inspection over production and assembly problems identified in the control form to ensure that the delivered vehicles had appearance quality that met the requirements of customers; third, check the rectification of the ordered vehicles of all batches in the 9-series randomly, and inform the group members of any recurrence of rectified problems.
With the active cooperation and efforts of different departments, 102 problems in refined interior and exterior decorations were successfully closed during more than 9 months. Steady improvements were made in the interior and exterior decorations of vehicles in the 9-series that were delivered, and the quality was also recognized and affirmed by group leaders and customers. The upgrading of refinement improvement further strengthens the refinement concept and lays the foundation for the future development and manufacture of vehicle models.

Occupational Health Protection • I Do On the morning of April 28, to cooperate with the Health Monitoring Institution and the Center for Disease Control of Minhang District in publicizing the Law on Prevention and Control of Occupational Disease, SUNWIN, as the main publicity site, actively created an atmosphere around the themes of “Occupational Health Protection • I Do” and “Building A Healthy Enterprise and Sharing Health Achievements” and erected display boards showing laws and regulations on prevention and control of occupational diseases and the occupational health protection campaign of “Healthy China Initiative” on both sides of the main road, canteen and corridors in the enterprise.
During the activity, staff from the Health Monitoring Institution and the Center for Disease Control distributed promotional materials and items about prevention and control of occupational diseases to the employees of SUNWIN. The Director and employees of the Human Resources Department signed for the “Occupational Health Protection•I Do” and promised to fulfill their responsibilities and obligations for strengthening occupational health protection and promoting the construction of a healthy China.
At the same time, the monitoring officers also went to the paint workshop and the car body workshop and offered consulting services to workers exposed to occupational hazards concerning personal protection, ventilation device setting, and warning signs and boards of occupational hazards.
At the end of the activity, the Health Monitoring Institution also sent laws and regulations on prevention and control of occupational diseases and relevant promotional materials to SUNWIN as gifts, hoping that it can further popularizing knowledge on prevention and control of occupational diseases, help employees master healthy working methods, enhance their self-protection awareness, better fulfill its responsibility for occupational health management, and contribute to the occupational health protection goal of “Healthy China Initiative”.

SUNWIN Holds A Meeting to Promote Work for the Quality Year of 2020 and A Production Mobilization Me In order to promote the company’s work goal for the “Quality Year” of 2020 and further improve the quality of its products and customer satisfaction, a meeting to promote work for the Quality Year of 2020 and a production mobilization meeting for the bus order of Jiushi were held on May 14. General Manager Gui Longming, Party Secretary Feng Yuan, Deputy General Manager Jin Gang, Deputy Party Secretary Zhao Yiqiang, and directors of the relevant departments attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Jiang Weidong, Director of the Quality Assurance Department, reviewed the progress that has been made in design quality, supplier quality, assembly quality and product quality benchmarking for the Quality Year of 2020: optimizing and improving 27 processes of quality identification according to the IATF16949 standard, and effectively controlling and improving the quality of key internal processes including general assembly interior decoration, body and paint surface details of the 9-series on the basis of tracking the previous AUDIT issues and with three weeks as a stage.
Then, other relevant departments separately reported on the production guarantee for the 863 units of buses ordered by Jiushi. The company would guarantee the fulfillment and delivery of this order from six aspects: product quality control, promotion of technical improvement, implementation of material delivery, execution of process improvement, and organization of effective production. In terms of product quality, SUNWIN would step up key quality control of products based on the experience in the previous 500 units of 9-series delivered, implement quality rectification in production, increase the efficiency of problem solving, and meet the needs of users. As the follow-up 863 units of buses ordered by Jiushi involve two models of 10.5m and 12m in a total of 14 batches, the Technology Center has determined the improvement plan and measures for all problems identified in the second round of design review on the first prototype. Rectification would be effectively implemented to enhance the technical performance of the 2020 model. Due to the impact of COVID-19 on the global supply chain in 2020, the Procurement Department would ensure timely delivery of production materials through early deployment and arrangement, early procurement of long-cycle materials, and preparation of imported materials; at the same time, the quality of whole vehicle products made by SUNWIN would be further guaranteed by strengthening the quality awareness of suppliers and by managing, controlling and guiding suppliers. At the production terminal, SUNWIN would break down the production plan to day and maintain overall capacity balance and stability between production lines in each workshop by formulating daily production plan and distributing it to every workshop; at the same time, a series of measures would be taken to guarantee the production of the 863-unit order, such as strengthening employees’ sense of responsibility, clarifying management responsibilities at all levels, strengthening the building of workshop teams, and setting up an internal quality control group in every workshop to quickly drive the work.
Finally, the company leaders made requests at the meeting separately. General Gui required that: All departments treat the requirements put forward by leaders at all levels seriously, further strengthen the organization of human resources, give full play to the leading role of cadres, and accelerate the closure and resolution of various quality problems on site; based on the adjusted organizational structure of SUNWIN, the departments clarify the responsibility for centralized management of quality problems in suppliers, implement the quality control of key components (such as the three major ones), and help suppliers improve their capability quickly; the departments promote the building of teams, cultivate the backbone for field management and continuous improvement, and further strengthen the daily management and ability enhancement of section chiefs, team leaders and other personnel; relying on the Group’s support for the quality work at SUNWIN, the departments continuously elevate quality work standards; the departments concerned accelerate the rectification of problems complained by customers, strengthen the design review and problem solving of prototypes for the 2020 models in the 9-series, assure the quality of batch production to order, and follow up the production of new vehicles after they go online; based on the requirements on epidemic management and control, the Human Resources Department should prepare work safety, heatstroke prevention and cooling plans during periods of high temperatures and product peak, eliminate safety, quality and other problems that may result from continuous production to order, strengthen daily safety inspections and potential risks identification, and provide logistics support with the assistance of the Party Work Committee; the Domestic Business Division of Sales Company should be responsible for formulating the after-sales service warranty plan for the bus order of Jiushi, providing station services, personnel training, and spare parts warranty after new vehicles go online, continuing to strengthen after-sales response, and improving customer satisfaction.
Secretary Feng required that: every department should go into the root cause behind quality problems, use various quality tools, develop more intensive measures to prevent quality problems, and avoid recurrence, because there is still room for SUNWIN to improve its product quality. At the same time, to the meet the requirement on “elevating quality improvement, product sales, and customer word-of-mouth to a new level”, all departments should further enhance their responsibility awareness, reinforce coordination and linkage, and overcome difficulties in continuous production of this follow-up order, high temperatures, and the epidemic to ensure delivery of the bus order of Jiushi with both quality and quantity guaranteed. The Party Work Committee should cooperate with and support administrative departments in caring for employees.

Jiushi Group and SUNWIN Together Celebrate the 520 Day of Care In order to actively advocate a good social fashion of understanding, respecting and caring for bus workers and enhance their sense of pride and belonging towards their profession, Jiushi Group celebrated the first “520 Day of Care”, joined by SUNWIN, for the bus sector in Shanghai to care for more bus workers. SUNWIN specially prepared a new type of pure electric bus for this event.
On May 20, this extraordinary ceremony was solemnly held at the bus hub on Caoxi Road. Zhang Biwei, Party Secretary and General Manager of Jiushi Group, delivered a speech via live video; as leaders representative of the Transport Labor Union of Shanghai Municipality, Cao Xiufeng and Zhou Jianrong attended the event personally, bringing gifts to representative bus staff; the event features online live broadcast, offline card punching, interactive assignments, display of star workers, establishment of bus fan club, heartwarming initiatives and messages, street interview interactions, and 520-minute online love relay. During the event, five card punching task forces were connected from the site which completed tasks like “A Trip to Transit Bus Hub”, “Bus Knowledge Contest”, “A Visit to Bus Clinic”, “A Taste of Staff Canteen”, and “Learning the Seven-Formula Work-Break Exercises” that helped the audience learn more bus knowledge, better understand the bus sector, and get closer to bus workers. The event was broadcast live on online platforms such as news networks, Douyin, and Weibo.
On the event day, engineers from SUNWIN also explained professional knowledge about the intelligent and networked configuration of the “White King Kong” bus that they brought to the participants; the off-site card punching team also organized “Bus Knowledge Contest” for bus fans who participated in the event.
