On January 29, Sunwin delivered the first batch of 9^th edition ultra-high-level electric buses to Shanghai Bus No.5 Public Transport Company, which will start operating Route 728 officially on January 30.

   The bus model launched this time is a new generation “intelligized” bus. Regarding its appearance, the newly designed model with customized coatings is simple, natural, and elegant. In the driver’s area, providing the first use of a high-quality liquid crystal display for an automobile dashboard, together with a flexible and adaptable design of the bus driver cabin, the model provides the drivers with a more comfortable and convenient driving experience. As to its interior designs, the idea of having a wrap-around safety barrier that surrounds the driver cabin not only makes the barrier more aesthetically pleasing, but it also improves the usability of the barrier. In addition, while the size of the integrated bus fare collector decreases drastically, it supports various payment methods. Also, in terms of its “intelligized” functions, it contains driver assistance functions like Forward Collision Avoidance, Forward Collision Warning, Speed Limit Traffic-Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, 360-Degree Surround Warning, Blind-Spot Monitoring and Lane Change Assist, Throttle Management, All-Day Cell Monitoring, and Parking Assist ect., which helps to ensure the safety of both humans and vehicles effectively.

   As a newly invented new generation electric bus model, it has grabbed extensive attention from the media and society, as they all covered the news one after another through their official accounts on WeChat and Weibo. From now on, there will certainly be more vehicles running on the roads of Shanghai, and by that time, passengers will then have a different experience and feeling.

   On 29 January, the leader of Pudong Jingao Public Transport 1^st Branch visited Sunwin to present the after-sales service team of Sales Department with a silk banner that has “exquisite skills, satisfying service” written on it. The silk banner is given to compliment the team for providing an active and quick response to Pudong Jingao Public Transport 1^st Branch as they dealt with various types of maintenance and repair issues.    On 18 January, Jiading Public Transport sent Sunwin a thank-you letter to compliment the marketing and after-sales service team of Sales Department in Sunwin for providing after-sales maintenance and repair service to help with the operations of Jiading Public Transport. By responding actively, the marketing and after-sales service team in Sunwin solves vehicle maintenance and repair issues at great speed, and hence effectively ensures smooth operation of the vehicles, leading to a stable growth in indicators such as vehicle attendance and passenger satisfaction etc. in Jiading Public Transport.

   The six fuel cell buses (Model: SWB6128FCEV01) delivered by Sunwin to Jiading Public Transport have been serving Jiading (Route 114) for more than 2 months; it has aroused extensive attention from the society because of its technological innovation.

   On January 11, Mr. Yang Xiaoxi, the Deputy Director of Municipal Commission of Transport, as well as other representatives from the Road Traffic Department, Scientific and Technical Information Department, Urban Transportation Administrative Department and Jiading District Commission of Transportation visited Jiading to conduct an investigation and research into the operations of fuel cell buses. During the event, they were accompanied by Mr. Gui Longming, the general manager of Sunwin, and the relevant personnel from Sunwin’s Sales Department.

   The authorities took a test ride to gain first-hand experience of riding in a fuel cell bus, and they shared their feelings on the road. After reaching Hydrogen Refueling Station, the authorities of the Commission of Transportation even inspected the hydrogen refueling process of the hydrogen fuel bus; while at the same time, the person-in-charge of the station made an introduction on a series of station-related matters. Lastly, the authorities of the commission continued to take the hydrogen fuel bus to Shanghai International Automobile City Building and participated in a meeting to discuss the development status and future directions of the hydrogen and fuel cell industry.

   At China International Bus Expo 2018, which promotes the theme “Green Bus, Environmentally Friendly”, Sunwin is honored to receive the Outstanding Contribution to New Energy Automobile Award. Recently, Sunwin also received a Certificate of Honor issued by both the Urban Public Transport Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society and the committee of Shanghai International Urban Public Transport Expo.

   On 29 November, Sunwin set to supply 51 electric buses (model: 6808BEV27) to Chongming Public Transport. This model of electric bus will be put into service in the Chongming route, replacing the last batch of diesel buses that are still serving in Chongming. Since then, buses powered by conventional energy that cause pollution will be decommissioned in Chongming bus routes, which brings the blueprint of making Chongming an ecological island one step closer to success.

   Sunwin held a delivery ceremony for this batch of new buses that are of great historical significance in the history of bus transport in Chongming. Mr. Gui Longming, the general manager of Sunwin and Ms. Jing Xinlan presented bouquets to the leaders of Chongming Public Transport respectively. After attending a specialized training for vehicle operation and safety measure, each driver slowly drove the new buses out of the plant area and headed to Chongming Island. Hopefully this batch of new buses on the Chongming bus routes can provide passengers with a high level of service and a comfortable experience.

   The 8-meter electric bus model, developed and mass produced for delivery by Sunwin, is small and agile, which makes it very suitable for the relatively complex road conditions in Chongming Island. By optimizing spatial design and decreasing space in the engine bay, it helps to enlarge the passenger cabin; and by using a design with short rear overhang, it increases the passenger capacity in the middle of the bus and hence maximizes the space inside the vehicle. Overall, this bus model creates a sense of space like the 10-meter buses.

  From November 19 to 21, The 2018 BUS EXPO, co-sponsored by the Urban Public Transport Society of China Civil Engineering Society, the Bus Branch of China Automobile Industry Association and Shanghai Public Transport Industry Association, was held at the New International Expo Center, No. 2345 LongyangRoad.  As one of the largest exhibitors of the exhibition, Sunwin showed two new models: iEV12 and 12 M hydrogen fuel bus --- UNDP demonstration vehicle.

On the configuration, as a new generation of "intelligent" bus, forward automatic collision prevention, fore-collision warning, speed limit sign recognition, Lane deviation, intelligent braking, 360 lookout warning, blind area monitoring and lane change assistance, throttle mistake prevention, all-weather battery monitoring, parking auxiliary functions are equipped.

  On September 27, six units Sunwin SWB6128FCEV01 fuel cell city buses officially delivered to Jiading public transport and started trial operations.

That morning, Shanghai first fuel cell bus line operation ceremony was held at the outdoor venue of Jiading Motor City Trial Driving Center, which is sponsored by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, Science and Technology Commission's fuel cell vehicle project office, Shanghai International Automobile City (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai new energy science and technology achievements transformation and Industry Promotion Center and Sunwin, and is also a project to promote the commercialization of fuel cell vehicles in China. The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Chen Gang, Municipal Science and Technology Commission, UNDP, Deputy District head of Jiading District, and Mr. Chen Demei, vice president of SAIC made speeches, and they congratulated the first fuel cell bus operation through the common push rod ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, they made test ride of fuel cell bus to Jiading 114 bus Park, and understand the fuel cell vehicles daily operation monitoring and other aspects of the situation.

  In the summer vacation of 2017, with the help and cooperation of the company's internal and external, Sunwin held the first “Sunwin Fans-day” activity; more than 70 fans attended, and received extensive attention and good response from inside and outside the industry. The preparatory work for the second “Sunwin Fans-day” activity started in April this year and was successfully held in August 28th.

The main venue of the event is near the Jiading Automobile Museum. After receiving the fans to the venue, we prepared a small gift for each participant.

The first item of this activity is to visit the Automobile Museum and understand the history of automobile development; and the second item is to visit the new generation of 9.4m pure electric city bus and the new generation of hydrogen fuel cell new energy bus. As active vehicles, SWB6948BEV35 is the first paragraph 9.4 meter pure electric city bus mass produced by Sunwin, which endurance mileage can reach 400km and the shape fits well with the different terrain and road needs of the city and the suburbs. After test ride, the fans said that the ride is very quiet and comfortable, the air suspension is very suitable for bumpy filtering, and the sound-proofing of the vehicle is also very good. Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles attract a lot of attention because of their "hydrogen fuel". The third item is question and answer session for 9.4 meter bus. The problems are simple knowledge related to Sunwin, and mostly from the public number.

The fans of this activity have a large span of age, including a grandmother who took her grandson to participate in the activity; the geographical span is also very large, apart from the fans in Shanghai, also three fans from Nanjing and one from Zhejiang.
