On March 5, Sunwin made the 2012 Rational Proposal Evaluation and 2013 Contractors Meeting with the participants of leaders and members of rational proposal team, experts of rational proposal evaluation and workshop and department contractors.
    The meeting concluded the rational proposal task in 2012 and decided to increase the contractor from 17 personnel to 22 personnel because of departments adjustment. The meeting also selected 12 outstanding rational proposals and made the propose for this year rational proposal activity with the theme of enhance quality and improve production. 
    This meeting not only provided a platform for contractors, evaluation experts and team member to make deep communication but promote the rational proposal activity in 2013.

    The exported 45 18m BRT buses to Pakistan were delivered to the customer formally on Feb. 10 in Pakistan. Local citizens attended the activities.
    The 18 BRT buses will be put into operation formally in Pakistan; the total distance for the line is 27km and 27 stations in the line. The ticket is 20 Rupee (1.5 RMB). If you go to Lahore, you must go to experience.

    In line with the company quality meeting requirement, on March 16, Sunwin made the quality test. The test was organized by Quality Assurance Dept and got the great support from Party Commission, Trade Union and HR Dept. And the company also established a special team to arrange the test. The test was divided into two parts and the attendance were company directors, managers and relevant leaders, totally 100 personnel. Before the test, Mr. Lu Yang made the mobilized speech stressing the quality management was important for Sunwin development and he also required all the directors shall implemented the quality-orient policy. The test was in order and serious. In order to get good achievement in this test, all the participants made good preparation. 
    Year 2013 is the quality year for Sunwin and the quality is the life for company. People are the most important factor to affect the quality. So, improving the quality ideal for employees is very importance. And this test is also a measure to implement quality-orient policy. The company will continue to strengthen the quality train for the employees to intensify the assessment for product quality, enhance the product quality to new step and lay a solid basement for company to achieve the yearly operation target.

    Spring Festival symbolized happiness, luck and family reunion, but our new energy service team still held their posts to make efforts to ensure the operation of new energy bus.  
     In Shanghai, the 120 electric buses and 61 super capacitor buses have running for 3 years, and the failure rate has become gradually raised. The employees in the new energy service team gave up the spring festival holiday and sticked to the working posts to ensure the normal operation of 181 new energy buses.
In Qingdao, 2 assigned employees have stayed in Qingdao for 2 years and this year, they also gave up the chance back home and sticked to their posts with other 8 employees to ensure the safe and reliable operation of 200 electric buses in Qingdao.  
    In this year's internal department staff appraisal, Mr. Zheng Qianwen was awarded as " Outstanding staff Award ", in the past two years, due to his hard work and selfless dedication, the electric bus in Qingdao has maintained a good condition in running.
    In Nanjing, the 10 electric buses and 10 hybrid buses were just into operation and have some faults. So the 2 employees also gave up the chance back hometown and held their posts to complete bus maintenance and repair.
   In Tianjin, the cold weather can not be frozen staff's work enthusiasm, 10 electric buses have been put into operation, in order to ensure the normal operation of the buses, our 2 employees to work overtime before the Spring Festival to adjust the buses to best operation condition and sticked to posts during the spring Festival to ensure the normal operation of the buses.

    On Jan. 30, Sunwin made the coach business (including Qingdao Sunwin) meeting with the participants of relevant department managers, sales representatives, project managers and so on. Mr. Jin Xiaohui expressed thanks for the achievement got in 2012 in the field of coach business and arranged the new task for coach business in 2013. For coach business department, the pressure for them in 2013 will be much heavier, so the whole team shall redouble efforts to break fresh ground in coach business and Qingdao market with stronger responsibility and wisdom.

    Jointly organized by Construction Dept of Finance Ministry, High-tech Development and Industrialization Dept. of Science and Technology Ministry, Equipment Industry Dept. of Industry & Information Ministry, Industry Coordination Dept. of Development & Reform Ministry, the Bidding on Financial Subsidy for Hybrid Bus Demonstration Project opened tenders on Dec. 17, 2012 and issued the result on Dec. 31, 2012. The bidding confirmed the hybrid bus models catalogue in China. Four Sunwin hybrid bus models as SWB6127HE2 bus model, SWB6127CHEV bus model, SWB6107CHEV bus model and SWB6107SHEV1 bus model were listed into the catalogue.
    The hybrid bus was listed into catalogue marked the non-pilot cities purchasing the hybrid bus listed in the catalogue will got certain financial subsidy in line with the fuel saving rate.

    2012 Global New Energy Vehicle Assembly was held in Jan. 10. Sunwin attended the assembly. And Mr. Huang Zheng made the speech in the forum of new energy bus innovation. Shanghai Sunwin made the strategic cooperation with State Grid to use the model of battery changing to solve the public traffic operation difficulties.
    During the speech, Mr. Huang Zheng expressed State Grid has confirmed the basic business model on how to develop electric autos. And Sunwin would play the integration advantages to meet the requirement on battery changing model issued by State Grid. After using this technology on battery changing, the current public traffic operation difficulties will be solved. Firstly, because the public traffic corporation purchased the bus without battery, the cost will be decreased by 40%, secondly, the public traffic corporation needn’t bear the fee on battery usage, thirdly, it takes only 8 minute to change battery for one bus and the new battery can meet daily mileage requirement of 250km per day. Till the end of 2012, Qingdao, Tianjin and Nanjing have successfully used the battery change model. Meanwhile, the accumulated mileage of 200 electric buses in Qingdao reached 9 million Km and the bus operation rate reached 99%.
    Since Dec. 2010, the Global New Energy Vehicle Assembly has been successfully held for two times. In past two assemblies, government and corporation representatives from USA, Japan, South Korea, France, Britain and Germany made discussion with hundreds of Chinese representatives.

    With the theme of converging positive energy, the Third China Electric Automobile Industry Selection Festival was closed on Dec. 11 in Shanghai. Sunwin got the prize of yearly excellent electric bus manufacturer, SAIC Motor got the prize of yearly excellent fuel cell auto manufacturer and Rowee got the honour of yearly excellent fuel cell auto corporation. 
    China Electric Automobile Industry Selection Festival was organized by China Auto Paper, automotive website, China Automobile Industry International Corporative Corporation, China Automobile Industry Association, China Automobile Industry Academy, China Automobile Technology Research Center, China International Trade Promote Commission Automobile and so on. So the festival has high professional and authority.
    And the festival attracted main electric auto manufacturers and relevant parts suppliers. There were more than 40 national famous electric auto manufacturers, 100 high-level representatives from electric auto industry and 10 VIP guests from auto industry attending the festival to offer advice and converge energy for the development of national electric auto industry. Sunwin, as the only new energy bus supplier for 2010 Shanghai Expo, provided 337 new energy buses running for Shanghai Expo and became the star of green bus in China. Meanwhile, Sunwun was awarded the honour of Shanghai Expo Advanced Collectivity by the State Council. After the Expo, with the SAIC New Energy R&D platform, Sunwin continued to improve new energy bus and provided more than 600 new energy buses to markets in 2012, among which 360 electric bus were delivered to Qingdao. At present, there were more than 400 Sunwin electric buses running in Qingdao and making great contribution for environmental care.

    On Nov. 22, Volvo Hybrid city bus attended the activity of Volvo Innovative Day—Innovative Sweden. And Mr. Roald Dogge, expert in the area of city bus from Volvo Group made the special speech and issued a solution plan on security and sustainable development of transportation in the area of public traffic. The attended hybrid city bus has the characteristics of low carbon environment and good efficiency. At present, this kind of bus has been popularized in European countries and we expect it can be running in the entire world.

    On Dec. 11, the delegation of Taiwan Automobile Electronic Association, totally 20 personnel, visited Sunwin. Mr. Lu Yuliang together with other personnel from Oversea Dept. accompanied the delegation to look around the production lines and prototypes in parking lot, and made the introduction on company and productions. Both parties made the detailed exchanges in new energy bus products and bus operation and maintenance. Mrs. Wang Jing introduced the operation information on city buses and new energy buses exported to Taiwan. The delegation also made the exchanges with Sunwin on product technology and operation assurance.
