On July 7th, a group of 34 guests led by VOLVO India customer representatives visited SW. DGM Mr. Huang,DGM Mr. Lennart and R&D Managers attended the meeting and led a tour to the workshops. India representatives expressed interest in SW buses esp. new energy buses for Expo, and further understanding of new energy buses information through Volvo.

On July 21st, SMEC Director Wang Jian, accompanied by SAIC Vice President Mr. Xiao Guopu, visited Expo super-capacitor bus service station and pure electric bus maintenance station. They cared for the operation status of new energy bus in mould rain season, how to deal with harsh weather such as extremely hot and extremely humid situation, and the preparation for large passenger flow. They expressed satisfaction with the generally stable operation of new energy bus.

Recently, SAIC Group Chairman Mr. Hu Maoyuan visited SW staff at super-capacitor bus station and pure electric bus station in Expo Park. Mr. Hu Maoyuan paid attention to new problems of new energy buses in mould rain season with high temperature and high humidity. He expressed satisfaction with generally stable operation and required further care for the work and life of staff in Expo Park, and emphasized preparation for larger passenger flow in extremely harsh weather.

Currently, pure electric buses and super-capacitor buses run overloaded in Expo Park from 8:30 to 24:00 every day. According to the statistics from May to June, 120 units of pure electric buses run out for 222 thousand times totally with overall passenger load as 26 million person-time and average daily passenger load as 430 thousand person-time; the overall driving mileage comes up to 1.28 million km, average daily driving mileage comes up to 21 thousand mileage and unit average daily locomotive running kilometer comes up to 175. 39 units of supercapacitor buses run for 5 thousand km every day with unit average daily locomotive running kilometer up to 110.

As the main running line, the super-capacitor buses carry more than 300 thousand person-time on average every day.

Currently, 3 shifts in 24 hours run by turns in Expo Park. Due to manpower shortage and overloaded work, permanent employees haven’t taken rest since entry into Expo Park. Key employees haven’t taken rest since March 20th. Their hard work ensures a generally stable operation of new energy buses, which gains high evaluation from various walks of life such as Expo Transportation Operation Section.

   On May 22nd, HV Electrician Special Skills Training was held in Expo Park. Toguarantee safe operation of HV and to solve real problems for employees, HR triesbest to communicate well with the trainers, invites them to Expo Park to conduct anintensive special training to HV electricians who haven’t had training at school.
   Through this training, this year’s HV electrician training finishes. Thus, maintenancesafety of electric vehicle and super capacitor vehicle is guaranteed.

    From June 2nd to June 3rd, TÜV Rheinland (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. conducted ISO9001: 2008 quality system auditing to Sunwin. Through the 2-day work, this judging team gave an overall positive comment on Sunwin, but also found some problems. Relevant Dept. corrected these mistakes. Under the leadership and organization of QA Manager, with the cooperation of relevant Dept., Sunwin successfully passed this third-party auditing. Recent quality auditing has been successfully completed.

Sunwin LE Prototype Bus Successfully Developed   Sunwin LE Prototype Bus Successfully Developed

   SWB6127HG4LE bus for Ningbo market now finishes the prototype development phase. After collecting feedback information from customers such as Pudong Public Transportation, big improvements have been made. This bus will become one of the four main Sunwin models of National IV Emission Standard. In the process of pilot run, project team, relevant Dept. and workshop overcame many difficulties to guarantee the ontime completion of bus manufacturing. Now, this bus is sent to Hainan Island for test.

Deputy GM Mr. Huang Zheng, assistant Mr.Xuan Ying, Sales Manager Mr. Chen Wei and R&D Manager Mr. Kan Weifeng accompanied these honorableguests and introduced Sunwin electric bus, hybrid bus, super capacitor bus, Euro IV new model and coach to them.Everyone had a ride on the electric bus.
