Recently, SAIC Group Chairman Mr. Hu Maoyuan visited SW staff at super-capacitor bus station and pure electric bus station in Expo Park. Mr. Hu Maoyuan paid attention to new problems of new energy buses in mould rain season with high temperature and high humidity. He expressed satisfaction with generally stable operation and required further care for the work and life of staff in Expo Park, and emphasized preparation for larger passenger flow in extremely harsh weather.
Currently, pure electric buses and super-capacitor buses run overloaded in Expo Park from 8:30 to 24:00 every day. According to the statistics from May to June, 120 units of pure electric buses run out for 222 thousand times totally with overall passenger load as 26 million person-time and average daily passenger load as 430 thousand person-time; the overall driving mileage comes up to 1.28 million km, average daily driving mileage comes up to 21 thousand mileage and unit average daily locomotive running kilometer comes up to 175. 39 units of supercapacitor buses run for 5 thousand km every day with unit average daily locomotive running kilometer up to 110.
As the main running line, the super-capacitor buses carry more than 300 thousand person-time on average every day.
Currently, 3 shifts in 24 hours run by turns in Expo Park. Due to manpower shortage and overloaded work, permanent employees haven’t taken rest since entry into Expo Park. Key employees haven’t taken rest since March 20th. Their hard work ensures a generally stable operation of new energy buses, which gains high evaluation from various walks of life such as Expo Transportation Operation Section.
