Volvo 7900 Hybrid Bus Attended 2012 Hanoverian Auto Exhibition Back List >October 2012

    From September 20 to September 27, 2012 Hanoverian Auto Exhibition (IAA 2012) will be held in German. VBC will take Volvo 7900 Hybrid bus and relevant technology to attend the exhibition with the theme of Energy Saving and Environment Care.
    Since year 2010, VBC firstly produced the hybrid buses in batches, till now, VBC has exported totally 760 hybrid buses to 20 countries becoming a leading hybrid bus manufacturer in Europe. The outstanding hybrid system with the characteristics of energy saving and environment care was the key for the buses got success. Compared with traditional buses, Volvo 7900 hybrid bus can save fuel around 37%, and the emission of nitrogen oxides and particulates will reduce by half which greatly reduce the pollution. Meanwhile, the hybrid bus keeps the outstanding feasibility and reliability.  
    The body is mainly composed of aluminum and glass fiber, with the characteristics of light weight, low fuel consumption and greater capacity. The vehicle power system consists of a small diesel engine and a motor, which can recycle the energy when bus braking. When at the bus station, the diesel engine will be power off, and the bus completely depends on the power, quiet and no emission.
