SAIC Motor Delivered 1000 Official Vehicles for Youth Olympic Games Organization Committee Back List >October 2014
On July 15, one month count down for 2nd Youth Olympic Games opening, the delivery ceremony of official vehicles to Youth Olympic Games was held in Nanjing Olympic Sport Center. SAIC Motor, as the a cooperative partner of Youth Olympic Games in auto usage, delivered 1000 official vehicles including the brands of Roewe, Maxus and Sunwin to be used as official cars and shuttle buses during the Youth Olympic Games. Mr. Liu Yian, municipal standing committee of Nanjing, executive vice mayor, and executive vice Secretary-General of Youth Olympic Games organization committee presided the ceremony. Mr. Chen Zhixing, president of SAIC Motor and Mr. Miu Ruilin, Vice President and secretary general of Youth Olympic Games organization committee and Mayor of Nanjing made the speech respectively. Mr. Chen Hong, Chairman of SAIC Motor delivered the key to Mr. Yang Weize, executive chairman of Youth Olympic Games organization committee, standing committee of Jiangsu province and municipal party secretary. As the a cooperative partner of Youth Olympic Games in auto usage, SAIC Motor provided six models including Roewe 950 car, Roewe W5 car, Maxus G10, Maxus V80 and Sunwin LNG bus and Sunwin diesel bus, totally 1000 units. The Roewe 950, Maxus G10 and Maxus V80 will be used as VIP reception cars.
