2014 International Bus Technology Exhibition was held in Shanghai Expo center to display the latest energy saving products and new energy products as well as latest bus technology and so on. Sunwin took two hybrid buses as SWB6128SHEV7 bus and SWB6127PHEV bus and a newly developed new energy drive system to this exhibition to show the latest bus technology fruits from Sunwin and Green Bus to citizens.  
    These two hybrid buses were developed especially for public traffic. Equipped with the wheel and drive motor as the drive power and the imported machine controller, the extended range hybrid city bus SWB6128SHEV7 bus has the advanced technology and high-efficient power system and reliability. With the 2.8 liter National V engine as the main part of APU system and high-energy lithium iron phosphate power battery, the bus can provide a driving range with more than 50Km in the condition of pure electric situation and more than 400km in diesel mode with the oil-consumption lower than 20L per hundred km. with the aim to develop the ideal of priority in public traffic and low carbon environment, the bus is installed with three doors and low floor.
    The complete bus control system installed in SWB6127PHEV bus was developed with the independent intellectual property and is the core technology in the bus, and it can provide an optimal power combination plan in line with the actual situation of the main parts. So compared with the normal bus, the Eco-hybrid bus can save 40% fuel, decrease the emission of carbonic oxide and PM2.5 by 90%, nitric oxide and smoke by 50%.
    During the exhibition, Mr. Bian Boping (original director of Shanghai Transportation and Harbor Burau), chairman of board of supervision of SAIC, Mr. Hong Renchu, deputy general manager of Jiushi Group, Chairman of Bashi Group and director of association of public traffic as well as leaders and customers visited Sunwin display station.
    In order to deep the ideal of energy saving and emission reducing, improve the technology safety and accelerate the course of low-carbon industry, the organizer also made the Top 50 evaluation of 2014 China energy saving bus and new energy bus innovation and made the prize award during the exhibition. Sunwin got the prize of Top 10 Innovative Bus Corporation in 2014.
