On Dec. 8, under the lead of Zhang Wei, vice president of Graduate School of Tsinghua University, and MEM teacher Niu Shuiye, totally 60 personals from MEM, Tsinghua University visited Sunwin. Mr. Yuan Guoxin, secretary of party committee, Mr. Lu Yuliang, GM Office executive director, and Mr. Li Yaojiang, director of HR Department had given them a warm welcome.

 

In the trade union multi-function hall, Mr. Li Yaojiang introduced the general situation of Sunwin and carried out the safety training before the visit. Later, Mr. Yuan Guoxin made a welcome speech to the teachers and students of MEM, Tsinghua University, and introduced the development history of SAIC combined with his own experience. Mr. Zhang Wei introduced the project situation of MEM, and awarded the Practice teaching enterprise for Sunwin.

 

After the welcome meeting, they visited Sunwin Technology Center (including laboratory, prototype vehicle and remote monitoring room), Painting Workshop and Assembly Workshop, and made test ride of Sunwin 18M BRT. Mr. Chen Xi, General Engineer of Technology Center, gave a detailed explanation of the technical features of the BRT.

 

In the afternoon, Mr. Qi Hongyuan, Director of business operation and project management of Technology Center, gave a lecture with two topics of the SAIC CVDP product development process and the development trend of new energy vehicles, and made an open communication and discussion with the students. Following the lecture, Mr. Zhang Wei awarded the lecture guest speaker of subject frontiers to Mr. Qi Hongyuan.

 

Through this visit, the students from Tsinghua University MEM have a deep understanding of the technical features of the bus products, the status of the industry and the trend of the development of new energy. Both sides have also set up a platform for mutual exchange and study.
